We stopped here after our visit to the Vatican museum to get some Aperol spritzes and pizzas. Prices were reasonable and the pizza had fresh ingredients with a thick crust, just what you'd expect from a solid pizza in Rome. Service was just fine for us. From other reviews, it looks like some of the food isn't great, but the pizzas were excellent and fairly priced.

Located just outside of Vatican City we popped in for a quick bite before our tour. The menu was extensive and that always makes me cringe. The dinning area was elegant and that was promising. I went with simple and ordered the hamburger and fries. Big mistake. It was one of the driest burgers I have ever had and the fries were under cooked and looked like they were frozen bagged fries. I ate it because we were in a hurry but I didn't like it one bit. Our server was polite and saved them from a one star rating!

After surviving the hellish experience of the Vatican crowds, we need alcohol.  And food.  And space.  And we found all of that here.  We were super worried that it would be a ridiculously overpriced tourist trap and were very surprised to find the menu to be pretty reasonable!

I ordered a funghi pizza and the hubs ordered cacio e pepe.  We both had several aperol spritz.  The food was outstanding and the portions were filling.  The drinks were amateur but very very inexpensive.

Definitely a place I'd recommend to decompress after surviving the Vatican!

We stopped by for a quick bite before visiting the Vatican church or St Peter's and Sistine chapel.  More like wine, AC, bathroom and gelato.  Gave them 4 stars for excellent service.  Even though we only had a glass of wine and gelato, they still treated us well.  They didn't try to get us out quickly.  The food was 2 stars.  It's more like American Italian which I don't have anything against.  It's just that we're in Italy and it should be authentic Italian.
